Description
These APIs create or update accounts (business orgs). An existing account can be updated by setting the acct_id field. When updating an existing account, setting an argument (for example, fiscal_yr) will cause the field to be updated. To leave the current value in the field, leave the argument blank (""). To clear the value in an argument, use the string "CLEAR".
To create a new account, leave the account field blank. A variety of fields in the account can be optionally set. Four of them, type, size, revenue, and ownership are values from code lists. If the code list values are blank, the default value of the list is used.

Visual Basic:
Dim ret_int As Integer
Dim account_objid As Long
ret_int = fcinter.create_update_account("New account", _
"Description", "The World", _
"ACCT", "YEAR", "Customer",_
"10 - 99", _
"$1M - 5M", "Private", _
"333-333-3333", "333-333-3334", _
"www.acct.com", _
"", "", true, "", "", 0, "", 0, _
"", "", "", "", "", "")
If ret_int = 0 Then
account_objid = fcinter.ret_objid
End If
Javascript:
var ret_int = fcinter.create_update_account("New account",
"Description", "The World",
"ACCT", "YEAR", "Customer",
"10 - 99", "$1M - 5M", "Private",

"www.acct.com",
"", "", true, "", "", 0, "", 0,

if (ret_int == 0){ var account_objid = fcinter.ret_objid; }
· Do the same with the list version:

Dim val_list As List
ret_int = fcinter.create_update_account_list("New account", _

"", "", true, "", _
fld_list, type_list, val_list)
If ret_int = 0 Then
account_objid = fcinter.ret_objid
End If
Javascript:
var ret_int = fcinter.create_update_account_list("New account",
"Description",
"The World", "ACCT", "YEAR",
